Valentine’s Day Storytime

Happy Valentine’s Day! Valentine’s Day is all about sharing the love, so for yesterday’s storytime craft we made Valentine Bookmarks for the library’s Bookvan, a vehicle that delivers books to the city’s nursing homes and retirement communities. After making bookmarks, we also made an easy and kooky craft inspired by one of my favorite craft […]

Resolutions, Looking Back

2011 was a dream. I woke this morning and can only remember fuzzy bits and pieces. And as the day goes on the memories only seem to escape me further. So, I went back. To my place here. Oh, yes… We made a monumental decision. We moved from our home in Michigan to my in-laws […]

Children’s Book Week

Happy Children’s Book Week! If you couldn’t tell… I’m kinda a fan of reading. Especially, when it involves inspiring kids to read. What was your favorite book to read as a child? If you have kids, do you have a favorite you read to them? I have too many. A few favorites include My Garden […]

At the Zoo

Yesterday, we took a trip to the Fort Worth Zoo. It was a Texas blue skies sorta day. We wore our sun hats. We wore our smiles. After the day was done, we wore out one little girl.
